CPCAB Fast Track to Level 4 Diploma in Therapeutic Counselling
Our CPCAB Fast Track to Level 4 course will take you from a begginer to fully qualified status, including BACP membership, in just two and a half years! You’ll start with an introductory course where you study what others typically do on their Level 2 course (but with no assessment) before going on to earn your official CPCAB Level 3 and Level 4 qualifications while learning all the practical skills you need to start to work at a counselling agency or run your own practice!
​No previous qualifications are necessary. The Level 3 course begins on 20 August 2025, and the Level 4 runs from 7 January 2026 to 8 December 27. The course runs weekly on Wednesdays, with 53 face-to-face days and 18 online days. I look forward to meeting you.
CPCAB L3 – Graduate Conversion Summer School
Have you already studied counselling theory but are missing the practical skills for a Level 4 course?
Our Practical Skills Conversion Course is designed for you. This intensive programme leads to a CPCAB Level 3 qualification, fast-tracking your entry to Level 4 counselling studies.
Perfect for:

Students with a Level 3 (or equivalent) theory-based qualification, such as online courses.

Graduates in counselling or psychology who have studied key models (CBT, psychodynamic, person-centred) but lack hands-on experience.
Delivered over 13 full-day live online sessions across 6 weeks, this course offers immersive training in core counselling techniques.
Please note: This is a demanding, full-time course with assessments on non-teaching days. Commitment is essential.

CPD Services - Post Qualifying Diploma in Counselling Children and Young People
I jointly own Essential Training with my colleague Moira Hood. Our post-qualifying diploma course equips qualified counsellors with the essential skills, knowledge and abilities to work as child and adolescent therapists in various settings.
Accredited with CPD Services, the course meets the BACP competency framework and will provide you with an overview of child development, an understanding of the different types of counselling approaches that can be used with children and young people, and how to put these into practice.
Our post-qualifying Diploma is created specifically for counsellors and psychotherapists who wish to acquire essential competencies in supporting the emotional wellbeing of children and young people in diverse settings.
